Superior hotel that has nice and perfect location close to everything. Good-sized room plus with great views. With a microwave, an electric kettle, and a fridge. Location just off the centre of Whanganui as well as river. Simply no complaints, really nice stay.

Our stay here was really really nice, chilled-out base for exploring Whanganui. Superior king room with great views, had essentials required. The location for Whanganui was fantastic and particularly good, not far from the centre of Whanganui, and an orchard. It also was close to everything. Really enjoyed our time here.

The room is clean and warm. Equipped with central heating, iron, and ironing board. the price is just right at £132. the location is incredible and absolutely perfect, next to an orchard, the river, and the garden.

Spotlessly clean, this charming place exceeded all expectations with its warm and inviting atmosphere. The picturesque river view from our elevated perch was a jaw-dropping sight, especially while watching the birds flutter by. The cozy bed ensured a delightful night's sleep, and the tasteful and sympathetic decor added a touch of character to the space. Renee, the friendly and welcoming host, provided excellent dinner recommendations. While slightly secluded, the location and breathtaking views made up for it. The inclusion of free wifi and the renovated bathroom with heated towel rail were lovely little touches. All in all, a unique and special getaway that we highly recommend and can't wait to return to.

It is a superb base for an overnight stay. the views of the garden and river are attractive. the location is nice and absolutely incredible, close to the center of Whanganui. it was a very nice experience.

The Signal Box offered a unique and luxurious vibe with a stunning view of the river. the old railway signal box setting added a touch of quirkiness and charm. the accommodation was well-appointed with plenty of natural light and lovely facilities. the location, being semi-rural, was peaceful and sunny, making it perfect for a short overnight stay. As a light sleeper, I appreciated the tranquility and the soothing sound of rowers on the river in the early morning. the presence of books by New Zealand authors was a delightful touch.

Felt like royalty, no complaints at all.
